Where Indeed excels at finding job postings across the web and acting as a search crawler for employment, maybe a full-fledged career is too big of a commitment at this point in your life. Elance is a site to find freelance work of all types. I’ve used it for quick writing, editing, copywriting, resume building, and other odd jobs and temp gigs. The experience has been great.
Polished Paper offers editing services around the clock, 365 days a year. Editors need to register, submit a resume, and pass an editor’s test to get started. Pay rates vary based on the turnaround time and number of words to be edited. You need to be familiar with several different styles (APA, MLE, Chicago, etc.) to be successful at Polished Paper.

Look close to home. I remember scouring the classifieds and other sources like that for work, and then realized I knew plenty of people who owned businesses that produced pamphlets, books, and web copy, and they all needed an editor even if they weren’t already using one. So I started offering my services, and providing the people I knew with pricing sheets and referrals. Word-of-mouth was the best form of advertising for me, but in order to get that I always over-delivered, and was on time.

Otherwise, when you consider yourself a more advanced professional, online proofreading jobs for beginners won’t suit your level of expertise and won’t guarantee you the potential earnings that you could have. Here at VIP Writers we can offer you a wide range of academic assignments to proofread, from high school essays to PhD level dissertations, from literature history to astrophysics. You can choose whichever academic level will suit your skills better, and, of course, which type of texts are you especially comfortable with. There could be Maths write-ups with a lot of formulas and specialized language along the way, as well as there could be intricate literary content, so make sure that you provide the information about your area of knowledge when registering an account. If you feel especially confident in your field of knowledge, you can apply for editing academic writing, which goes beyond only correcting superficial mistakes and implies suggesting the author better ways to structure ones paper and ways to improve the argument presented in the thesis statement.
Maybe a bit. Most offers won't bother sending you anything unless you pay for it. You might get a little bit of junk mail from time to time. I don't do offers too often though, so I can't say for sure. However, after all of these years, 95% of my junk mail is from my credit card company, my previous car insurance company, and charities that I donated once or twice to.
Don’t be surprised, this is an online business which is not well known but it is very profitable. It is however not an easy one but you can make a very good profit if you do it right. A domain name that you buy for $10 can be worth $1500-$2000 if a company is interested in that domain name. The business of buying and selling domain names is legal but frowned upon as unethical by most.

Better yet, you can even upload your own book to one of the world’s largest book sellers: Amazon. With Amazon self-publishing, you set the price, retain the rights to your book, and get access to Amazon’s massive audience. For every sale, you keep 70% with Amazon taking the remainder as a fee. If you want to get started, check out Leslie Samuel's great guide to selling eBooks online or follow Tara Gentile on CreativeLive as she shows you how to use your existing body of work to write an eBook within the next week. Who knows, you might just write one of the best business books of this year!

I was looking into being a Cam Girl but that's really not my thing unless I can be completely anonymous. I've looked into data entry jobs, those stupid (and obviously fake) survey things, but no luck. I can't make and sell things on etsy because I don't ever have enough money for materials, which aren't even guaranteed to sell. I don't have any talents I can use to make money and I'm not a fan of children so tutoring is not something I'd like to do.

-EDIT- The apps were TapTapSee and CamFind. When I was doing the tagging, the company was under "Image Searcher Inc." which seems to have turned into "CloudSight". The job was posted on craigslist a couple years back. Basically you would log in to their website (tagpics.net) and receive images people took for identification, you would have a few seconds to come up with a detailed description of what the photo was of. You were allowed to cash out once you got over $80. I have no idea how they do things now. Searching the apps brought me to their website, with a description that makes it seem like it may be automated now? I'm honestly not sure. This was late 2013 and early 2014 when I did it. If anyone has any luck, let me know. All I have are a few old emails from them. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Chances are you have already heard about affiliate marketing, but if you haven’t then I will tell you. It is helping to sell products which are not yours and getting paid a commission for it. The way to go about this is building a website or blog to market these products or using advertising sites to market them. I will advise you to get your own blog to do this since it’s more effective this way. You can sell anything on your blog but you need to focus on products that have a wide appeal. Your main aim is to make money but if you start promoting shoddy goods, it will end affecting your website in the long run. You can purchase some of these products yourself so that you are very confident in marketing them. There are a lot of affiliates you can join. I will just mention a few. Amazon affiliates is quite easy to join even if you are a new blogger, others will access your traffic before. You can consider, ShareASale, ClickBank and CJ affiliates because they are already well known.
Travel blogging is a hard industry to break into. However, the rewards can be worth it, and let’s face it, who doesn’t want to be paid for traveling around the world! There are numerous ways to monetize a travel blog, but affiliate marketing should predominantly be your focus. On your blog, promote hotels, tours, equipment hire services, flights, and anything else travel related. Then take a cut of the proceeds as your audience books their holidays based on your recommendations.

If you have nothing of value to sell from home then retail arbitrage might be a better option for you. Many people partake in arbitrage to earn a little extra money, and for some it has even become their full-time job. Retail arbitrage is the buying of goods at a low price and then selling them on a different platform at a higher price. Sales in shops provide ideal opportunities to pick up products for next to nothing. These can then be sold on eBay or Amazon for higher amounts, making you a nice profit.

However, not matter what method you choose to make money online, understand that you might be able to make some money fast, but for the sizable returns, you'll need significant sweat equity. However, a year from now, you'll be happy you started today. Remember, time is far more valuable than money. Focus on creating passive income streams that will free up your time so that you can quit the rat race and focus on the things that matter. That's the important thing here.
If you have a passion project, Kickstarter may be exactly what you need to get it off the ground. Celebs like Zach Braff and Melissa Joan Hart have used this site in attempts to fund their movie projects. Some crack dealers in Canada inspired a “crackstarter” campaign from Gawker for pictures of the Toronto mayor smoking crack with them. All you need is a dream, a goal, a budget, and a great pitch to convince people to come to the site and donate to your Kickstarter campaign. Panhandling isn’t dead – it’s gone digital…

While some might think that starting a blog is an arduous effort, when you understand the precise steps you need to take, it becomes far easier. It all starts in the decision of choosing a profitable niche and picking the right domain name. From there, you need to build your offers. You can easily sell things like mini-email courses, full-blown trainings, ebooks, and so on.
