Writing an eBook and selling it on your blog can be a great money maker. Your eBook should be directly relevant to your blog’s content so you can sell your book to your existing audience. Creating a recipe eBook for a food blog or an eBook full of training plans to complement your fitness site are just a couple of examples that have the potential to sell.
Thanks a lot for posting that list. I have proofreading and experience so I was looking forward to some websites to find online work. I have tried on Upwork, and have found many jobs but I am stil waiting for their response. So in meanwhile I wanted to look out for more websites, and I am going to search some from your list. UPDATE: Alright guys, I just thought I'd post an update now that the issue's resolved itself and I've been able to complete the test. About 5 hours after e-mailing Neevo about my issue I got a generic e-mail about the start of the transcription job. Neevo didn't acknowledge my problem at all, but I attempted the test and it was working at this point! I somehow managed to pass despite the questions being harder than my first attempt. This is just speculation, but since the job hadn't officially "started" when I made this post, there may have been some glitching with the test portion which they resolved behind the scenes. Anyway, good luck to those who also passed the test! The only advice I have is to wear headphones, listen to the file twice + re-read your transcription for longer dialog, and pay attention to words that sound cut off! I doubt I'll make it far myself though ha ha
With drop shipping, you’re effectively partnering with a manufacturer or wholesaler to sell their products. This way, you don’t pay upfront costs to buy inventory, aren’t sitting on unsold items taking up expensive warehouse space, and don’t have to deal with shipping the products yourself. You simply create your site, fill it with drop shippable products, and drive in customers, with almost everything else done for you.
If you are a Designer, developer, writer or any other you can try out freelancing. One of the most popular form of online job is Freelancing. There are some fundamentals that don’t change no matter what you’re editing, but you also need to be aware that the grammar rules you learned in 7th grade English class aren’t necessarily the ultimate law in all of grammar… they’re simply one set of rules. Different writers, publications, and publishers follow different sets of rules. If you ever wrote a paper for an English class and also wrote a paper for a science class, you probably had to learn both MLA and APA style — two different, but equally “correct,” methods of grammar and punctuation. Neither one is wrong, but they’re definitely different.
While some might think that starting a blog is an arduous effort, when you understand the precise steps you need to take, it becomes far easier. It all starts in the decision of choosing a profitable niche and picking the right domain name. From there, you need to build your offers. You can easily sell things like mini-email courses, full-blown trainings, ebooks, and so on.
Editing is a bit of a funny thing. Most people tend to see things in black and white, with grammar rules and style guidelines and a right-vs-wrong mentality. The truth, however, is that editing is in large part subjective. The way you edit a term paper is going to be vastly different from the way you edit a textbook, which will also be very different from the way you edit a memoir or a fiction story.
Redbubble ($60): My store. After getting rejected by merch by Amazon, I came here. You design and publish t-shirts, clocks, mugs, phone cases, and about 20 other mixed products, with each sell netting you a few bucks. They are based in Australia, and do pay-outs once a month on the 15th via PayPal. I have only been at this one for about two months, but see the potential it has. It also takes a good amount of upfront work before you see any dividends. You do all of the uploading and just wait for people to find it with keywords or searches. Great if you are artistic or know how to use any creative software. www.redbubble.com

White labeling products involves purchasing pre-made products from a supplier and then adding your own labeling and branding. Products could range from candles to gym equipment or even tea, but all will come without labels, allowing you to create your own new range of merchandise. Most suppliers will advertise the fact they offer white labeled goods on their websites, so pick your niche and then find the right supplier and product for you. Once labeled, products can be sold via sites like eBay and Amazon, or from your own eCommerce store (discussed in a moment).

Good at designing, programming, video editing or something else? Sell your skills on Fiverr. The process seems profitable, but it’s not as simple as it may seem. Competition is fierce and to really rake in the big projects, you need credibility on Fiverr. This usually means having to do really small and simple projects before earning anything significant.
Here is my situation. I am an artist who was in an art movement a few years ago (during that time I was featured in over 10 books and 9 museum shows). I currently freelance as a graphic artist (so I am NOT in a flush financial position by any means). Someone close to me wrote my bio for a Wikipedia page (all the links have been researched and are in place - both internal links and external links)....
As well as selling your eBooks, Amazon can also create paperback copies of your book. CreateSpace, an Amazon-owned company, will help you self-publish your book. A relatively straightforward process, you must upload your work to CreateSpace and submit it for review. Your book will then be displayed on Amazon, and printed on demand and shipped by CreateSpace when purchased. And you can collect up to 70% royalties for each book sold.
Thank you for this article. I am beginning the process of applying to different editorial companies. However, I’m having difficulty understanding how to make sure I pass proofreading/editorial exams before I am hired. I tried Proofreading Pals, but unfortunately, I didn’t pass and was unable to retake it. Would you happen to know any resources I can look into to prep me for taking pre-screening exams?
Thank you so much to publish this post. I heard about freelancing from one of my relative and registered myself in upworl, fiverr and freelancer. I am a banker and want to make some extra income in my free time. I am an avid reader for which I found this job interesting. I started posting and bidding jobs with a very low amount as I am new in this field. I have enclosed cover letter wherever they have asked. It’s almost now 3 weeks I have posted 50 jobs and haven’t got a single reply. Can you please tell me why am I facing this problem? Is this because I am new in this field or is the normal Turn Around Time they generally go for? Please give me some advise to get some job as I want to start it from scratch.
If you’re a skilled worker in a specific niche, like marketing, design, or software development, there are specialty marketplaces that cater just to you. These are amazing places to make money online as you know that the people visiting them are looking specifically for the skills you have. Check out places like 99Designs or Dribbble for designers, Cloudpeeps for marketing and SEO professionals, and TopTal, Crew, or Gigster for high-level software developers. Once you've built up your development skills, you can begin building a brand for yourself as a higher-value consultant and start charging brands for larger projects like implementing an entire WordPress security overhaul or migrating a website from http to https.
What I did find is that here, in the United States, there isn’t a whole lot of information and resources available for would-be proofreaders and editors. In Canada and Australia, for example, there are associations that you can join and tests to take to become a certified proofreader or editor. In the states, there seems there was such an organization at one point, but has since disbanded.
However, not matter what method you choose to make money online, understand that you might be able to make some money fast, but for the sizable returns, you'll need significant sweat equity. However, a year from now, you'll be happy you started today. Remember, time is far more valuable than money. Focus on creating passive income streams that will free up your time so that you can quit the rat race and focus on the things that matter. That's the important thing here.
Infographics are currently an extremely popular type of media. An infographic showing information or data in an interesting and fun way can help engage an audience and generate numerous likes and shares. As infographics take more time to create than just simply uploading an image, busy website owners are prepared to pay for custom infographics. And don’t worry, an infographic can be created using simple design software such a Canva. So extensive graphic design skills are not necessary, just a creative eye.
