Where Indeed excels at finding job postings across the web and acting as a search crawler for employment, maybe a full-fledged career is too big of a commitment at this point in your life. Elance is a site to find freelance work of all types. I’ve used it for quick writing, editing, copywriting, resume building, and other odd jobs and temp gigs. The experience has been great.

UPDATE: Alright guys, I just thought I'd post an update now that the issue's resolved itself and I've been able to complete the test. About 5 hours after e-mailing Neevo about my issue I got a generic e-mail about the start of the transcription job. Neevo didn't acknowledge my problem at all, but I attempted the test and it was working at this point! I somehow managed to pass despite the questions being harder than my first attempt. This is just speculation, but since the job hadn't officially "started" when I made this post, there may have been some glitching with the test portion which they resolved behind the scenes. Anyway, good luck to those who also passed the test! The only advice I have is to wear headphones, listen to the file twice + re-read your transcription for longer dialog, and pay attention to words that sound cut off! I doubt I'll make it far myself though ha ha
Mechanical Turk is Amazon's take on micro-jobs. These are small miniscule-jobs that you can do for other people, which they call HITs, or Human Intelligence Tasks. These are super simple tasks that anyone can do. Some examples are listing off some URLs with certain kinds of images for one cent, or recording a few phrases with a microphone for 6 cents.
Scribendi is a proofreading and editing company based in Ontario, Canada. They offer both in-house and telecommuting opportunities. 17. Amazon – Have you heard of FBA? It stands for “Fulfilled by Amazon” and it’s getting pretty popular. Basically, you buy products (in bulk is best) and ship them to Amazon for them to store. When your products sell, Amazon packs them up, ships them out and sends you the money (after taking their cut). There are people making a full-time living from FBA, while others just do it for some extra money.
6. IZEA – IZEA works in addition to a blog or on its own. You get paid to blog, tweet, take photos and take videos. The pay is mostly based on your following, so if you want to make money with your tweets, you’ll need to grow you Twitter following.  Likewise, if you want to make money with blogs, you’ll need substantial blog traffic (more on blogging below).

The times I have invested vary greatly, from one or two hours a day to well over 12 hours a day. I average somewhere around $6.25 an hour (admittedly never giving it 100% attention), but to me that is better than making nothing an hour. While it may seem excessive some days, I actually enjoy making money and I do some of it while I am at my day job, so it has become more of a time filler than actual work. Everyone will have their own experience but these are what have worked the best for me, either in time investment or having a little fun along the way.
While keeping up with deadlines and building up your client base are challenges, there are plenty of resources to help you get started with your own freelance proofreading business. The Editorial Freelancers Association is a professional group offering job listings and client assistance. This group and others are great resources for those starting out on their own in the world of proofreading.

19. eBay – Of course you can’t read an article about making money online that doesn’t mention eBay. You can start an eBay store and get serious about it or you can just sell some stuff to declutter your home. Either way, I’ve made my fair share from selling on eBay and it’s still a popular way to earn money. If you decide to start an actual eBay store, you’ll want to find a drop-ship business like Doba that will store and ship items straight to your customers so you don’t have to deal with an inventory.

A fitness site can have numerous revenue streams. Create healthy eating plans and recipes and lock them away as premium content. Promote and sell a fitness training course, eBook, or a series of videos. Or advertise your own personal fitness services on your site. Topfithub is  a good example of a fitness site with decent video content alongside product reviews.
